Ara Malikian in concert

The world tour of his latest album does not stop adding up international dates around the five continents. The second part of this tour begins with two multitudinous concerts at the WiZink Center in Madrid (Palacio de los Deportes) and the Auditori del Forum in Barcelona. This second part of the tour will alternate the most prestigious auditoriums in the world with a return to essence, a return to the wagon of the puppeteer, to take his music to all corners of Spain. A tour around the villages where he has performed during the last few years to express his gratitude to the Spanish audience. That was a period in which he forged a style of his own that has opened him up the doors to the world. As a result, Ara Malikian fulfils a dream that was born when, a long time ago, he played in an open air barn conceived for performing comedies and fell in love with the experience. It was the theatre before there were theatres; a meeting point for all kinds of social strata. Now, with this itinerant show, the public will be able to see other particularities that have made the artist worldwide famous. Again, the return to origins, roaming and mixture. Malikian will be accompanied by a magnificent band of drums, guitar, viola, cello, double bass and Indian percussion. This event is co-produced with Trui Espectacles and Gray Coda. August 1st at 9.30pm (Doors open at 7.30pm)
