The selection of TOP recommendations included in Chapter I of this guide is the result of the analysis and deliberation of the Editorial Board of The Port Adriano Guide to Mallorca. This board met on 20th April 2016 and the first point on the agenda at the meeting was to constitute an independent consultancy body to determine the companies and places the guide would recommend, due to their ability to transmit a complete, authentic personal experience to their customers.
The Editorial Board selected the TOP references presented by the guide in its sections on Gastronomy, Wines, Shops, Golf Courses, Natural Spaces, Sports and Leisure based on previously-agreed criteria: quality of the service offered, creativity and capacity for innovation, and moreover the location of the establishment in terms of the nautical environs. Consequently the items selected for the TOP list selected are establishments, services and places that are remarkable for the following reasons:
– Having the best rating within their branch of services.
– Transmitting distinction and prestige.
– Standing out in their sector and area for their creativity and originality

The following experts were members of the Editorial Board for the 2016-2018 edition of The Port Adriano Guide to Mallorca:
