The glamorous Italian singer-songwriter, nationalized French, will offer a concert at the Port Adriano Music Festival with her latest album “French Touch”. The album is entirely in English and includes eleven songs which, as the artist explains, “Inspire the French concept of love at first sight, à coup de foudre”.
Carla Bruni has dared with everything: from Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy The Silence” (1990), versioned as a folk song, to the Rolling Stones classic “Miss You” (1978), as well as a New Orleans march and even a perfect song like Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day” (1972) suddenly turned into a Parisian waltz, to “Highway to Hell” (1979) by Hard-rock’s AC/DC group. Songs taken to the personal and introspective terrain of the singer, who endows them with her inimitable and charming acoustic and melancholic style.
